Full job description

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Milling CNC Setter Operator to join our team on the twilight shift (2:00 PM – 12:00 AM). In this hands-on role, you’ll set and operate CNC Milling machines to produce high-quality precision parts, working with castings and other components. You’ll benefit from a 20% shift allowance and a 4-day workweek—enjoy long weekends every week! With the option of overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines for production runs
• Inspect machined components using precision measuring tools
• Follow engineering drawings and specifications
• Maintain production output to meet daily schedules
• Record scrap and inspection data accurately
• Report any quality issues or equipment faults
• Keep machines clean, safe, and ready for use
• Support continuous improvement and quality investigations

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: Previous setting/operating CNC Milling machines in a manufacturing environment
Skills: Able to read technical drawings and use inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Mindset: Reliable, quality-focused, and safety-conscious
Bonus: Experience with castings or manual machining a plus
Flexibility: Willing to train across areas and support additional duties when needed.
