Haworth Castings is pleased to introduce its new Planning Manager, Dorota Zdunek. Dorota brings a wealth of experience from eight years as Planning Supervisor at TW Metals, stockist and supplier of metals principally to the aerospace industry.

Production Planning
As Planning Manager Dorota is key to ensuring that the business is run efficiently and customer orders are delivered on time. Managing all aspects of production planning at Haworth Castings is a complex role, since orders may be completed at different stages of processing: some cast components may be delivered direct from the foundry to the customer, others may go through further processing at our machine shop in Basingstoke. Dorota develops and reviews the production plans prioritising and scheduling all work across both the foundry and machine shop to maximise production.
Haworth Castings is developing a new app-based system which will provide improved production planning and tracking for all orders. Dorota will be leading the introduction of this new interface and welcomes the flexibility it will offer in future to allocate production space proactively against customer-led manufacturing plans.
Customer Service
Dorota is keenly aware of the importance of good communications with customers, including keeping them informed of the progress of their orders. She continuously monitors production to ensure it is running to plan, analysing the progress of each order through casting, machining and finishing, and updating the customer at every stage. As our new system is introduced this will provide even more detailed live tracking which Dorota looks forward to sharing with our customers.
Since her arrival Dorota says she has been made very welcome at Haworth Castings and enjoys the happy working environment. We are delighted to have Dorota on the team!
