The Southern Manufacturing and Electronics show earlier this month, was as always an exciting three day event. The International Exhibition & Conference Centre in Farnborough provided a world-class setting for visitors from all over the world. As the UK’s largest annual engineering event now in its 20th year, we were thrilled to attend with 800 other exhibitors.
This year was the first time that Haworth Castings have exhibited as part of the Expromet Technologies Group along with our sister company Investacast . On the Expromet Technologies Group stand we combined Haworth and Investacast’s capabilities showcasing the true breadth and depth of the group’s offering.
The three days proved a valuable opportunity to catch up with existing clients from the broad range of industries that we work with. In addition we were able to meet new customers and discuss their aluminium sand and gravity die casting projects.
It was particularly good to be able to talk to customers about projects with a variety of casting needs, which we can now meet as a group. Along with Investacast, we are now able to respond to clients’ needs with the best casting solution for the task, either through one of our UK manufacturing bases or our global sourcing partners. All our castings whether produced in the UK or overseas undergo the same rigorous quality checks in the UK, before being supplied.
If we didn’t have the chance to see you at the show, please get in touch at with us at Haworth Castings or on 01794 512 685 to talk about your sand casting requirements.
